Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series starts its journey in India

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series starts its journey in India. Today in India, during a major event, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 12 series to the rest of the world. The Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ that will be marketed in India are identical to their Chinese counterparts in a pleasant change of pace. Xiaomi may add an LTE-only member to the Redmi Note 12 family shortly.

The launch event was for the “Redmi Note 12 Series 5G.” The Redmi Note 12 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 CPU. It also has a 120-hertz refresh rate. Only the primary 48MP camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) may be utilized for shooting.

The 4/128 GB model costs INR15,499 ($187/€175), while the 6/128 GB model costs INR17,499 ($210/€200). The phone will be sold on January 11 through Mi.com, Amazon, and retail locations. The Redmi Note 12 Pro looks identical to the regular Redmi Note 12, although it’s smaller. It has a 50-megapixel camera and a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged at 67 watts.

There are three colours for the Redmi Note 12 Pro: black, blue, and pink. The least expensive model, with 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage, costs INR24,999 (about $300; €285). The next level up, with 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage, costs INR26,999 ($325; €307), and the most expensive model, with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage, costs INR27,999 (about $340; €320).

Starting on January 11 at Mi shops, Flipkart, and partner merchants, early customers may get discounts of up to INR3,000 ($37/€35). We recommend the top-tier Redmi Note 12 Pro+. It’s the first cellphone in India to use Samsung’s ISOCELL HPX sensor for a 200MP camera, and it’s the same size and has the same 5,000 mAh battery as its non-Plus sister.

In addition to lightning-fast charging (120W), an AC converter is included in the retail package. The basic 8/256 GB version of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will cost INR25,999 ($315/€295), while the 12/256 GB model will cost INR28,999 ($350/€330) after discounts.

There are three colour options, and they are black, white, and blue. Also debuting on January 11 through Mi.com, Flipkart, and certain third-party stores, this phone follows in the footsteps of its Pro sister in having wide availability.

Unfortunately, the Redmi Note 12 Discovery, which has a smaller 4,300 mAh battery and 210W charging, will not be released outside China. Whether or not the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed is released internationally and under what name remains to be seen.
