Vivo
is a Chinese manufacturer of Android smartphones established in 2009. The company operates under BBK Electronics, a large Chinese multinational corporation that also owns the well-known brand Oppo. Vivo began expanding its presence beyond China in 2014 and now has a footprint in more than 100 countries. At one point, Vivo ranked as the world’s fifth-largest smartphone brand, achieving 100.7 million shipments and an impressive 36% year-over-year growth. The brand placed just behind Samsung, Apple, Huawei, and Oppo, while Xiaomi followed in sixth place with 96 million shipments.
